The sun is trying very hard to shine and our touring summer show is now open for bookings!

This magical touring show is specifically designed for the Under 5s age group and is great for young families- the best part is, we come to you!

Whether it’s your local school hall, your community centre, or even your sitting room- our two child friendly actors arrive, pop up our set, jump into costume and  sing, dance and laugh with the children for 45 minutes! The children play a huge part in helping our characters solve the mystery, however small they are they will get involved by bouncing along, clapping and the older ones will even get up on stage and jump right in the middle of the action!

That’s right , after 7 years of singing, dancing and acting their socks off in South West London, the Bugs have finally come to East and South East London, hurray!

To celebrate our launch in Beckenham, Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell, Herne Hill, Teddington, Wanstead and West Wickham we are delighted to offer £20 off those venues if booked by June 13th, now that really is bugtastic!

Luckily Rover the Dog and Princess Skip are standing in the wings to cheer Squeaker on! Can the boys and girls help too?

We are very excited about our new term at  Theatrebugs!

With celebrations such as George’s Day, the Olympic Flame arriving in the UK, the Queens Jubilee and of course the Games themselves- it certainly looks set to be an exciting few months!

Our Under 3s dive into our Colour and Shape term- they meet Harry Heart, Celia Circle, Sammy Square and many more. There are lots of great songs to sing too- and our little ones will even help make a caterpillar from lots of different coloured circles- they are so clever!

We’re not forgetting our Over 3s! They jump into their imaginary flying machine and jet off Around the World, collecting a story from each country they visit as well as lots of songs and dances too!

Now doesn’t that look like a bucketload of fun?!

We had a lovely time at the EWIF Awards last week! Our Guildford Partner, Hannah Mason, was shortlisted for “New Woman Franchisee of the Year!” and we were proud as punch! Hannah got pipped to the post by another very strong contender… but Hannah will always be the winner in our eyes!

Congrats to all the finalists and winners and thank you EWIF for inviting us to be part of it. Lovely to meet so many other likeminded people!

On Wednesday 28th March 2012 The Communication Trust hosted an informative and innovative event offering support to schools to prepare for changes to the Ofsted and National Curriculum frameworks with regard to speech, language and communication. And the Bugs were there too, highlighting the importance of drama in aiding communication development

The day supportted school leaders by translating policy into practice. Keynote speakers and workshops with practical advice and tools enabled schools to develop their approaches to meet the communication elements of the updated Ofsted framework.

Thank you for inviting us to be part of a reallly informative day!

That’s right mums and dads- Barnes and Kingston courses started yesterday and today we have our final three courses – Battersea, East Dulwich and Earlsfield. Lots of fun to be had!
