Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Yes- that’s right! Not only are The Bugs spooking all of South London with their ghoulish holiday workshops but this weekend marks the launch of Theatrebugs Halloween Parties! The party guests will be very busy helping to solve the mystery of the frozen animals and of course they’ll have to teach that silly Red Witch a lesson; There’s always time for fun and games though; our Halloween entertainers have got lots of spookily themed games under their hat like witches cauldron, Catch the Frog, Witches Cackle and Haunted House….to name but a few!

“The Grobble Returns” ; our new Halloween show gets ready to hit Wetherby!

Monday, October 19th, 2009

Following the success of last year’s “Theatre in the Woods”, the Bugs have been recomissoned by Stockeld Park to write and perform another spooktastic tale!  “The Grobble Returns” will be performed on October 30th 2009 at Stockeld Park, Wetherby, Yorkshire, LS22 4AW. Rehearsals are taking place this week so if you see some ghostly characters wandering around Battersea Park; fear not!  It’s probably just The Bugs trying out their spooky lines!

Show2 Front

By the way…..we got a lovely letter from Emma Danby at Maggie’s about “The Teddy Bear’s Picnic” (our 2009 summer show that we perfromed in Fulham Palace Gardens in September). Emma wrote

“Theatrebugs was a huge hit, the show was absolutely brilliant and your team so adaptable to the venue change, thank you!”

They raised over £2000 for the charity- that made all of us at the Bug Headquarters smile!
